Vinted Champion Volunteer

Do you love finding hidden gems, have a flair for online selling, and enjoy working independently? We’re looking for a Vinted Champion Volunteer to help grow our online presence and turn quality donations into vital funds that support women across Lancashire.

This role is ideal for someone who is digitally confident, organised, and has a good eye for spotting special items among our donations.

About the Role

As our Vinted Champion, you’ll take the lead in managing our Vinted account, photographing and listing items, keeping stock organised, and ensuring our online shop stays active and appealing. You’ll be based at our Accrington Centre.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Sorting through donations to choose items suitable for Vinted
  • Spotting standout brands, quality pieces, or unique finds
  • Photographing items clearly and attractively
  • Creating accurate and engaging listings
  • Keeping our Vinted page regularly updated
  • Preparing sold items for postage or collection
  • Organising and maintaining Vinted stock, including:
    • Labelling and storing items once listed
    • Keeping sold items easy to locate
    • Managing the flow of incoming donations
  • Helping generate vital income to support women across Lancashire

What We Offer

You’ll be welcomed into a supportive team and given the freedom to take ownership of the role. We provide:

  • Training and guidance on using Vinted (if needed)
  • Space and equipment for photographing items
  • A friendly, inclusive working environment

When We Need Support

We are looking for volunteers who can attend the centre on:

  • One day per week (flexible to what suits you)

To keep our online shop running smoothly, we ask that volunteers commit to at least one shift per week.

About Lancashire Women

What We Do:
We offer a whole person approach to supporting women which is trauma informed and can be accessed directly by women themselves and / or through a referral:

We can help with :

Mental health issues and general health and well-being
Money Advice / Debt and wider welfare support issues
Getting into employment with coaching, skills development and confidence building
We also work in the prevention and rehabilitation of women connected to the criminal justice system with expertise in addressing multiple and complex unmet needs of women who have been moved from pillar to post across services and agencies.

What skills do I need?

Creative and good IT skills. An understanding of Vinted is desirable but not a necessity.
