About Ribble Valley Archaeology

RVA are an amateur archaeological group who undertake archaeological fieldwork, excavations and documentary research in the Ribble Valley and Bowland area.

We undertake our own research projects but can also offer archaeological services and support to researchers and local history societies.

We welcome anyone who wishes to learn about archaeology and take part in excavations, surveying or documentary research. You do not need any knowledge or experience as we will provide full training.
